Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams and support radiologists and clinicians. The role requires strong imaging knowledge, patient care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time (36 hours) with a Thu–Sat 9:00 am–9:30 pm shift at Platte Valley Hospital in Brighton, Colorado. Required ARRT radiography certification and state licensure where applicable, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• ARRT radiography certification/registration required.
• State licensure where required and BLS certification.
• CT technologist credentialing preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT/competency across clinical/technical tasks.
• Identify patients, verify orders, and prep for exams.
• Perform exams per protocol; review images for quality.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits without compromising care.
• Instruct students and other CT techs on protocols and positioning.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems.
• Keep accurate patient and procedure records.
