Job summary

Overlake is opening its first off-campus Emergency Department in Lynnwood this fall, offering 24/7 ED-level care in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. The CT technologist will perform diagnostic and interventional CT and X-Ray exams, working with Imaging leadership and the department medical director to establish policies and procedures.

This role is part-time nights, 0.5 FTE with 10-hour shifts (Wed-Thu).

Qualifications

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program required or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program
• Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred. Previous hospital experience preferred. For Lead position, a minimum of six months previous leadership experience preferred.
• ARRT(R) registry required upon hire.
• ARRT(CT) advanced registry required upon hire.
• Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) is required upon hire. Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification
• Requires 24 CME credits every two years (Biennium).
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification required upon hire
• Formal IV start training and annual competencies in IV starts as applicable for position

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional CT & X-Ray exams and procedures within established guidelines.
• Serve as a role model and resource within the department.
• Collaborate with Medical Imaging leadership and department medical director to develop operating policies and procedures.
