Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in accordance with departmental protocols. You will operate CT scanners and related equipment, administer IV contrast as directed, and maintain patient safety throughout the exam.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders with radiologists, properly identifying patients, preparing them for procedures, documenting findings, and assisting radiologists during invasive procedures when needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles as they apply to patients.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire; BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for exams.
• Review orders with radiologists and verify accuracy of patient data.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment; administer IV contrast per protocol.
• Maintain radiation safety standards and proper documentation of procedures.
• Assist radiologists during invasive procedures and support patient care during exams.
