Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota seeks a Medical Physicist with a CT focus to join the Division of Medical Physics within the Department of Radiology. The role covers clinical service, protocol optimization, and translational research across Mayo Clinic Midwest, with access to a varied CT practice and multi-vendor scanners.

Qualifications

• A doctoral degree in medical physics or closely related field.
• Board certification or board eligibility in diagnostic medical physics.
• Strong interest in CT imaging, clinical translation, and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Support CT quality assurance, acceptance testing, protocol development and optimization.
• Provide clinical physics support for CT services in Rochester and Mayo Clinic Health Systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, IT teams, engineers, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Support CT applications used in diagnostic imaging and image-guided procedures.
• Contribute as a member of the Division of Medical Physics.
