Job summary

Volunteer State Community College is seeking an Instructor of Computed Tomography for a 9/10 month term. The role delivers CT instruction across multiple formats, coordinates clinical education, and participates in program accreditation tasks.

The candidate will manage student assessments, advise, and support college service activities. The position requires an associate degree with CT clinical experience and ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification, with preferred bachelor’s degree and teaching

Qualifications

• An associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is required with clinical experience in CT.
• ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification must be current and active.

Responsibilities

• Teach 15 semester credit hours and conduct office hours as defined by policy.
• Teach 28-32 semester credit hours across Fall and Spring.
• Coordinate clinical education and assign rotations across affiliates.
• Develop lesson plans, syllabi, calendars, and course outlines for didactic and clinical courses.
• Ensure accurate student records, attendance, evaluations, and grades.
• Participate in program and curriculum development and accreditation efforts.
• Support recruitment and retention efforts and provide student counseling.
