Job summary

Kelly Government Solutions seeks a Bioinformatics Scientist (CT Imaging) to support NIH projects. The contractor will provide programming and analytical support for bioinformatic and clinical research, extracting CT scan series and producing quantitative measurements.

Responsibilities include data management, software development for image analysis, collaboration with biologists and statisticians, and presenting findings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, or related field.
• 3–5 years of CT image analysis and clinical data analysis experience.
• Proficiency with CT scanner data pipelines and software development for image analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide programming and analytic support for bioinformatic and clinical research.
• Extract CT scan series from the Clinical Center Radiology PACS server after each exam.
• Produce quantitative CT measurements: segmentation, calcium score, tissue volumes.
• Maintain consistency with historical data to track changes.
• Adjust scanner protocols and tune analysis parameters after updates.
• Build and maintain a database of measurements and CT series with stats.
• Advise investigators on experimental design and statistical methods.
• Document analyses and report results in notebooks and progress reports.
• Train staff on software with version control and support.
• Collaborate with biologists, statisticians, and partners; present annually.
