As a Territory Sales Account Executive, you will be part of a team that is transforming the way restaurants operate. Using a consultative approach, you will prospect, build relationships, and sign up new restaurateurs in your local area. By understanding their needs, you will develop customized solutions to help their business thrive. We need your passion and expertise to help us build the Toast brand in your assigned territory.

This is a field sales role based out of a home office with required travel within the territory. You must live locally or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities
  • Generate a list of prospective restaurants and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing
  • Conduct demos and develop solutions tailored to prospect needs
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure delivery meets expectations
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM to manage sales activities
  • Understand the competitive landscape and position Toast effectively
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in sales, restaurant operations, or related fields
  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills; ability to negotiate at all decision levels
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding goals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Self-motivated, creative, and adaptable
  • Technical proficiency with software tools

The estimated total targeted cash compensation range is $129,000—$206,000 USD, including base salary, commission, benefits, and equity where eligible. Starting salary depends on skills, experience, and location.
