Under the supervision of a Caltrans Maintenance Supervisor, incumbent must retain a Class A Commercial Drivers License and will operate equipment, construction machinery, vehicles and tools and will perform labor intensive work associated with maintaining the state highway system and during emergency operations.The work is physically demanding and requires stamina. The encampments are prone to, rodent infestation, biological wastes and illicit drug paraphernalia.
