Job summary

Taco-Bell in Connecticut is seeking an Equipment and Facilities Technician to perform hands-on repair and preventive maintenance on restaurant equipment and building systems. The role requires basic electrical, plumbing, and HVAC knowledge and a proactive approach to keeping kitchens and facilities running smoothly.

The technician will diagnose issues, perform repairs on fryers, steamers, grills, and other equipment, and collaborate with the Facilities team to ensure safe, compliant operations

Qualifications

• Experience in repairing restaurant equipment such as fryers, hot wells, steamers, and grills.
• Basic electrical and troubleshooting knowledge are required.
• Familiarity with plumbing, HVAC, and general building maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain restaurant equipment (fryers, hot wells, steamers, clamshell grills, flatops).
• Perform routine facilities maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks.
• Support ongoing equipment reliability and safety in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
