Job summary

Memorial Health is seeking a CT technologist to maintain up-to-date CT imaging protocols and provide education to staff and students in the CT department. You will evaluate competencies and collaborate with CT Radiologist leaders to advance educational and technological capabilities.

Requirements include an accredited Radiography program graduate or BS in related field, and 5 years of CT experience, with R.R.T. CT certification and IEMA license. BLS CPR certification required.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiography program or a Bachelors of Science in an associated field.
  • Five (5) years experience as a CT technologist.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and maintain CT imaging protocols.
  • Adaptability to ongoing technological changes.
  • Previous physics course work preferred.

Job Description Summary

Maintain current and up to date protocols for all forms of CT imaging. Coordinate and provide technological education/training to all staff and students in the CT department. Evaluate staff and student competencies. Maintain constant open dialogue with CT Radiologist section leaders. Ameliorate oneself in educational and technological ability relative to present technology and future enhancement of CT. Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Quality, Integrity and Stewardship that support our mission, vision and values.

Schedule

Full Time, Day shift 8:00am-4:30pm Rotation Weekends

Job Description
Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiography program or a Bachelors of Science in an associated field.

Licensure/Certification/Registry
  • R.R.T. certification in Computed Tomography Imaging required.
  • IEMA License required.
  • Maintain BLS CPR Certification.
Experience

Five (5) years experience as a CT technologist with documented skill advancement in the workplace.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, educational and guest relations skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to write and maintain CT imaging protocols.
  • Adaptability to ongoing technological changes.
  • Previous physics course work preferred.
Pay Transparency

$37.43 - $58.02 Additional compensation in the form(s) of participation in our annual incentive program are dependent on role. Pay is based on factors such as work experience, education, certification(s), training, skills, and competencies related to the role.
