Job summary

Navarro Research and Engineering in Oak Ridge, TN is seeking a Test Engineer to support CSU activities within the Project Management organization. The role requires knowledge of installation configuration validation, test planning, and documentation development, with overtime and shift requirements.

Candidates should have an ABET‑accredited engineering degree with at least five years of relevant experience, prior CSU or nuclear experience, and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree in chemistry, physics, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years job-related and 1 year nuclear experience; or a DOE O 426.2A alternative.
• US citizenship is required due to government contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support CSU duties of installation configuration validation and test planning/document development.
• Schedule CSU execution activities, including sequence and resource requirements.
• Prepare equipment test records and pre-op testing binders.
• Participate in construction to CSU turnover walkdowns.
• Coordinate with the construction field engineer to support turnover.
• Initiate and track punch lists during testing.
• Perform and monitor testing of equipment to ensure conformance with requirements.
• Ensure work is undertaken safely and activities meet schedule and cost.
