Job summary

Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, GA is seeking an Angiography Technologist to join the Angiography & Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab, utilizing cutting-edge imaging to treat trauma, stroke and vascular issues. You will work with radiologists to perform angiograms, stent placements, and emergency interventions in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

This role requires on-call during the week and weekends in a rotation and staying within 30 minutes of the hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology.
• Graduate of accredited school of radiology.
• Associate or baccalaureate degree in a clinically related health science field.
• ACLS must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ARRT-R) Radiography, RCIS or RCES must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures, ensuring minimal risk to the patient and team members according to departmental protocols.
• Function as a technical resource and provide scrub assistance using aseptic technique.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease processes and principles of diagnostic and interventional radiology.

Education

Graduate of accredited school of cardiovascular technology

Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
