Job summary

FEDITC, LLC. is seeking a Senior CSSP Analyst to provide advanced cybersecurity monitoring, threat analysis, and incident response support for DFAS networks (NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS). This role requires on-site presence and an active Top Secret clearance.

The successful candidate will lead threat hunting, incident response, and compliance efforts across DoD environments, ensuring 24/7 readiness and alignment with CSIRP and CCMR procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Active Top Secret DoD clearance and US citizenship.
• 8+ years cybersecurity/SOC analyst experience.
• Experience with threat hunting, incident response and digital forensics.
• Knowledge of malware analysis and phishing investigations.
• Experience with security monitoring tools (ESS, ACAS, ArcSight).
• Familiarity with DFAS CSIRP incident reporting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support CCRI audit readiness and maintain compliance.
• Complete break/fix actions on schedule with 95% compliance.
• Operate ESS, ACAS, ArcSight and incident response on JWICS network.

Overview of position:

We are looking for a CSSP Analyst, Senior provides advanced cybersecurity monitoring, threat analysis, and incident response support for DFAS networks, including NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS environments. This position is responsible for identifying and responding to security threats, conducting threat hunting, managing endpoint security systems, and maintaining compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements. The role also supports security audits, incident reporting, and operational readiness to ensure the protection of critical DFAS infrastructure.

A United States Citizenship and an active Top Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level 24/7 security monitoring, analysis, and incident response (ON-SITE REQUIRED)
• Lead security event correlation and threat hunting activities
• Monitor tools designed to protect DFAS networks from internal and external attacks (data exfiltration, malware, web attacks, unauthorized access)
• Provide incident response, reporting (internal and external), and resolution on all CCE enclaves (NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS)
• Ensure 100% threat processing compliance for ESS management
• Achieve 95% CMRS compliance for endpoint security
• Support Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) maintaining audit readiness state
• Complete break/fix actions on schedule achieving 95% complianceComplete assigned projects achieving 97% completion rate
• Operate ESS, ACAS, ArcSight and incident response on JWICS network

Experience/Skills

• 8+ years cybersecurity/SOC analyst experience
• CySA+ certification demonstrating advanced defensive analysis skills
• Experience with threat hunting and event correlation
• Incident response and digital forensics experience
• Knowledge of malware analysis and phishing investigation
• Experience with ESS, ACAS, and network monitoring tools
• Understanding of DFAS CSIRP incident reporting procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• GIAC certifications (GCIH, GCFA, GCIA)
• Experience with DFAS CSSP SOC operations
• Prior 24/7 SOC experience in DoD environment
• Experience with Azure Sentinel KQL queries
• Digital forensics certifications
• Experience with classified network monitoring

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications

• CompTIA CySA+ or equivalent

Clearance

• Active Top-Secret clearance is required.
• Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
