Job summary

Dal-Tile, the leading tile and natural stone maker in the United States, is seeking a CSR Warehouse Associate II. You will service walk-in customers, answer inquiries, provide samples, and complete sales transactions in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

You will coordinate orders, perform cycle counts, operate forklifts, and work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate delivery and superb customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
• 1+ year(s) customer service experience.
• Certified Forklift Operator.
• Focus on customer account management preferred.
• 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs warehouse duties: pulling/assembling orders, checking outbound orders, stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays, and cycle counts.
• Receives inbound material, processes shipments and stock material, handles returns, and notes damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operates forklift equipment.
• Provides customer account management incl. order entry, inquiries, product information, order status, pricing, stock checks and transportation management.
• Handles high-volume inbound calls via ACD and processes faxes, reports.
• Interfaces with internal teams to address inquiries and order issues from entry to delivery.
• Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional CSR Warehouse Associate II to join our TEAM! As the CSR Warehouse Associate II, we need someone who is ready to provide a variety of support such as servicing walk-in customers, answering customer inquiries, providing samples, and completing sales transactions.

Primary Objective

To ensure effective and efficient coordination between the Company and its customers with a high level of service and support. Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse. Process sales orders and resolve customer product or service issues as needed.

Primary Function And Scope

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments and stock material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operates forklift equipment.
• Provides customer account management, which may include, but is not limited to, order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock check and transportation management.
• Provides customer service for a high volume of inbound calls using ACD (Automated Call Distribution).
• Responsible for keying in orders, processing faxes, and preparing reports.
• Interfaces with various groups, including but not limited to internal teams and SSCs, to address customer inquiries and order issues from order entry to order delivery.
• Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

Experience And Knowledge Required

• High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
• 1 or more years customer service experience.
• Certified Forklift Operator.
• Focus on customer account management preferred.
• Prior tile industry knowledge is preferred.
• 3+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.

Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization required. Good voice quality that is conversational and professional. Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, guidelines, and processing standards. Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills required. Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal relationship building skills. Must have a moderate level of computer skills in Word and Excel.
