GENERAL FUNCTION:

Provide excellent customer service in all interactions. Refer customers to the appropriate business partner for a consultative conversation. Be responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Always do the right thing for customers and colleagues, ensuring actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. Operate within the Bank's risk appetite by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Experience:
  • Deepen relationships and treat customers with genuine care by listening to their needs, asking questions, and guiding them to meet their financial needs.
  • Provide follow-up to customer questions and find solutions to address issues.
  • Be responsive and timely with communication to maintain clear lines of dialogue.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all customer business, upholding trust and responsibility.
  • Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and related policies, maintaining ethical standards.
Operations:
  • Perform daily responsibilities, collaborating with the platform team to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Maintain balanced records according to policy, correcting outages and seeking help as needed.
  • Stay informed of bank policies and procedures, updating knowledge as changes occur.
  • Handle customer problems professionally, escalating complex issues to leadership when necessary.
  • Use sound judgment in decision-making, adhering to established guidelines.
Referrals:
  • Identify customer needs during interactions and refer to Bankers and business partners for consultative discussions.
  • Maintain knowledge of retail products and services offered.
  • Use appropriate tools to track referrals to personal bankers and business partners.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Extensive cash handling experience.
  • Ability to interact confidently with the public and adhere to dress code guidelines.
  • Knowledge of retail policies and procedures.
  • Ability to take initiative, demonstrate sound judgment, and resolve problems.
  • Alignment with the company's core values: work as one bank, take accountability, be respectful and inclusive, act with integrity.
  • Flexibility in scheduling.
Working Conditions:

Normal office environment with extensive computer screen viewing.
