Job summary

Xcel Energy Inc. is offering a college internship in Minneapolis to support data-driven CSR initiatives. You will work with CSR data systems, including CyberGrants and Power BI, to analyze employee engagement, grantmaking, and volunteering metrics.

The role emphasizes data management, reporting, and turning insights into strategy. The position is intended for an immediate start, with potential extension based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Current student, Sophomore or higher.
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Data Science, Business Administration, Corporate Social Responsibility, or similar.
• Able to work full‑time during the summer (up to 40 hours a week) / part time during the school year (up to 20 hours a week) and commuting in-person per hybrid policy.

Responsibilities

• Support foundation data collection and analysis aligned with strategic goals and performance requirements of internal programs.
• Develop data dashboards and consolidate inputs to manage and measure KPIs.
• Complete data entry, data management and metric reporting in CyberGrants.
• Assist in annual workplace giving campaigns including donor support and data entry.
• Support accounting and finance on audit and financial processes.
• Help manage employee giving programs and create process documents for campaigns.
