Job Description: Local Route Truck Driver (CDL A or B)

We’re seeking motivated individuals to enhance travel experiences through their work. As a Local Route Truck Driver, your responsibilities include loading galley equipment onto the truck, driving to various aircraft, and unloading equipment. These routes typically involve driving on local public roads outside airports and terminals.

Compensation & Benefits

- Starting rate: $27.00/hour

- Sign-on bonus: $1,250

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Load equipment onto the truck according to guidelines.
• Drive to the aircraft at local airports.
• Load galleys following customer instructions.
• Unload and dispose of dirty equipment and trash appropriately.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation regulations while performing duties.
• Interact professionally with airline representatives.
• Follow directions and work as part of the transportation team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Work Experience

Up to one year of experience preferred.

Technical Skills (Certifications, Licenses)

Valid U.S. driver's license, CDL Class A or B required. Some locations may require a Customs Seal.

Language & Communication

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Job Requirements

• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Overtime as needed.
• Punctuality and adherence to company policies.
• Complete administrative paperwork accurately.

Work Environment

• Exposure to temperature changes and noise.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Lift, push, pull, and move items up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, bend, and lift intermittently during shifts.
• Work at heights up to 25 feet or more.
