CSP Production Manager: This is where you come in.

We’re seeking a CSP Production Manager who is dynamic, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This key role acts as the primary liaison between the CSP Sales and Production teams, owning the project turnover process and managing 15–25 design-build projects simultaneously. The Production Manager will lead weekly production meetings to ensure clear communication, alignment, and accountability across all project phases. As the single point of contact for general contractors, this role requires strong coordination skills to manage trade schedules and collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.

In addition to project execution, this role supports the sales team by attending job walks, contributing to pre-construction planning, and participating in client interviews. The CSP Production Manager also plays a critical role in project closeout—overseeing the final 10% of work, including system startup, testing, adjusting, balancing (TAB), and commissioning. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong background in construction or mechanical project management who excels at multitasking, leading teams, and delivering high-quality results from kickoff through completion.

Top deliverables in the first year to be a hero:

  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration and Communication
  • Lead weekly production meetings, act as the primary GC contact, and ensure seamless coordination across internal teams and external partners to align project activities and resolve issues proactively.
  • Execute Strategic Planning and Milestone Alignment
  • Set clear project goals and milestones for the CSP team, identify schedule acceleration opportunities, and communicate real-time progress to ensure productivity and accountability across all stakeholders.
  • Optimize Budget, Procurement, and Estimating
  • Analyze project budgets early to identify cost-saving opportunities, collaborate with teams to select preferred vendors/materials, and ensure procurement aligns with efficiency and quality goals.
  • Uphold Quality Assurance Standards
  • Incorporate lessons learned and field input to enhance quality control, ensure schedules support quality execution, and verify that materials and equipment meet project standards.
  • Champion Safety and Compliance
  • Integrate MacDonald-Miller safety culture by reviewing project sequencing for safety compliance and scheduling site visits to develop required safety plans in partnership with field teams.

The CSP Production Manager reports to Casey O'Hearn, Director of Special Projects, and serves as a key member of a dynamic, collaborative team delivering high-impact projects that fuel company growth. This high-visibility role provides regular interaction across departments, offering a unique opportunity to build strong cross-functional relationships and make meaningful contributions across the organization.

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role?

You should have…

  • Proven background in leading complex projects; experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a plus

  • Ability to read and understand financial reports

Your colleagues would describe you as someone who:

  • Communicates clearly and confidently - both in writing and in conversation
  • Represents the company with professionalism, positivity, and integrity
  • Is reliable, punctual, and committed to a consistent, high-performance work ethic

And you should be motivated by…

  • Contributing to a culture that’s transparent, innovative, and supportive - where collaboration is valued, new ideas are welcomed, and a fun, family-oriented atmosphere is part of the daily experience.

Compensation:
