CSOS Analyst - Tier III

The Opportunity:

Prime contract with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) for Transport & Cybersecurity Services (TCS). The capabilities include providing IT infrastructure services to support national security, including design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment, and disposal of transport and cybersecurity IT services across multiple networks and locations worldwide.

We are seeking a CSOS Analyst - Tier III located in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and implement tasks during cyber security incident response, including containment measures, IP/domain blocks, and disabling user accounts as directed by the Government.
2. Coordinate with Security and Installations Directorate (SI), Counterintelligence (SIC), Insider Threat Office (SIII), and law enforcement for incident investigation and triage.
3. Collaborate on security incident reports and categorize incidents and events.
4. Coordinate with various contracts, organizations, and services to ensure proper reporting, containment, eradication, and recovery from incidents.
5. Build timelines, documents, briefings, and other products to inform stakeholders of incident responses and analysis.
6. Document actions and analysis in the ticketing system for systematic reconstruction.
7. Develop and update reports in JIMS, ICMS, and other systems as directed.
8. Maintain and execute scripts, tools, and capabilities for data collection and analysis during incidents.
9. Perform digital media analysis, malware analysis, and develop indicators of compromise.
10. Provide adversary attribution and malware signature development.
11. Coordinate with Tier 1 and 2 services for remediation and prevention recommendations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of experience in Cyber Security (CSOS).
2. Active TS/SCI clearance, ability to obtain a polygraph.
3. Knowledge of DoD 8140.01, DoD 8570.01-M, IAT Level II, and CSSP Incident Responder.
4. Experience as a C-IRT member and executing Defensive Cyberspace Operations.
5. Digital media analysis, malware reverse engineering, and scripting skills.
6. Developing incident reports documenting the entire lifecycle and response.
