Job summary

ManTech in Springfield, VA seeks a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our team and protect mission-critical systems. You will lead CSOC activities, respond to cyber threats, and provide hands-on technical support in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 5+ years in incident response or malware detection, active IAT Level II certification, and experience with Windows and Linux, plus knowledge of current cybersecurity technologies. A TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent cyber experience.
• 5+ years in incident response or malware detection.
• Active IAT Level II certification (e.g., GSEC, Security+, SSCP, CCNA-Security).
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with current cybersecurity technologies and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead CSOC activities and provide advanced cyber security operations support.
• Correlate security events and incidents from multiple enterprise sources.
• Triage incidents to determine scope, urgency, and impact; recommend remediation.
• Track incidents from detection to resolution and assess potential damage.
• Perform cyber engineering trend analysis and produce detailed reports for 24x7 operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure continuous monitoring and readiness.
