Responsibilities

CSOC Analyst Tier 3

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

Criterion Systems LLC is seeking a mission-focused CSOC Analyst Tier 3 to support and contribute to our government customer’s success in Springfield, Virginia.

CSOC Analyst Tier 3 Responsibilities Include:

• Provide CSOC tiered services.
• Coordinate, execute, and implement actions required for containment, eradication, and recovery measures for events and incidents, 24x7x365.
• Handle incidents and respond to security events.
• Perform malware analysis and develop signatures.
• Handle and analyze forensic artifacts.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current TS/SCI security clearance with the willingness and ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.
• BA/BS Degree (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• Minimum of six (6) years of related work experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification (current); must be able to obtain/maintain CSSP Incident Responder certification within 120 days of start date.
• Ability to work one or more of five work shifts.
• Experience with TCP/IP, protocol analyzers, network protocols, cyber attack lifecycle, Mitre Attack framework, obfuscation techniques (e.g., base64, rot13, XOR, URL encoding), and utilizing SIEM for event analysis.
• Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
