Job summary

The Jewish Federation Of Greater Los Angeles seeks an CSI Physical Security Risk Manager to lead risk assessment programs and drive security improvements across Jewish institutions. You will manage site visits, produce detailed security reports, and coordinate with law enforcement and community partners to share intelligence and best practices.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor's degree in security or related fields, 5+ years in security operations, and strong analytical and writing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in security/emergency management with relevant experience.
• Knowledge of institutional safety and security practices.
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in security operations management, training, analysis, and safety plan protocols.
• PSP Certification preferred.
• Excellent time management, communication, technical writing, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with diverse community stakeholders.
• Must be proficient in collecting and analyzing large data for notifications, assessments and reports.
• Hybrid work model will be implemented for certain positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing day-to-day operations of the Site Visit/Vulnerability Assessment program.
• Identify, schedule and conduct Site Visits/Vulnerability Assessments and produce security reports.
• Prepare detailed written security vulnerability assessment reports.
• Assist with threat analysis and evaluation of institutions for staff prior to Site Visits.
• Coordinate with local/state/federal law enforcement to share information and best practices.
• Conduct community outreach to partners and volunteers on security practices.
• Manage special projects to develop new security systems and processes.
• Utilize CSI Database and case management system for duties.
• Stand duty as CSI Duty Officer and respond to incidents and inquiries as assigned.
• Assist in planning and logistics of training, briefings and events.

POSITION CSI Physical Security Risk Manager

EXEMPT NON UNION SALARY 80000 85000 TIME LIMITED 12312026 extension depending upon 3 year grant funding

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Reporting to the CSI Director of Physical Security and Risk the CSI Physical Security Risk Manager will assist in managing the CSI site visit and physical security vulnerability assessment program and program management of CSI special projects Additionally the CSI Physical Security Risk Manager will assist with CSIs Community Outreach Program

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

• Assist with managing day to day operations of CSIs Site VisitVulnerability Assessment program.
• Identify schedule and conduct CSI Site VisitsVulnerability Assessments of Jewish institutions throughout geographic catchment area and produce security assessment reports.
• Prepare and complete detailed written security vulnerability assessment reports of Jewish institutions.
• Assist with conducting threat analysis evaluation of Jewish institutions for staff prior to CSI Site Visits.
• Serve as liaison with localstatefederal law enforcement to share information intelligence and security best practices as assigned.
• Conduct community outreach to CSI partner leadership staff and volunteers to share information intelligence and security best practices as assigned.
• Manage CSI special projects program on development of new systems and processes to address gaps in physical security.
• Utilize CSI Database and case management system to carry out appropriate program related duties.
• Stand duty as off hour CSI Duty Officer several days a month as assigned taking incident reports answering client inquiries and assessing risk intelligence alerts.
• Assist in the planning and logistics of CSI training intelligence briefings and special events as needed.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

• Other duties may be assigned by supervisor including various administrative duties or assisting with the campaign.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION

• Bachelors Degree in Security andor Emergency Management Criminal Justice or equivalent militaryprofessional security andor emergency management experience.
• Knowledge of institutional safety and security practices.
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in security operations management training analysis and safety plan protocols.
• Physical Security Professional PSP Certification preferred.
• Excellent time management communication strong technical writing presentation facilitation and organizational skills required.
• Ability to engage effectively with diverse community stakeholders.
• Must possess advanced skills and experience in collecting and analyzing large quantities of data to produce notifications assessments and reports.
• Must be a problem solver flexible and comfortable functioning in high pressure environments.
• A dependable team player with business maturity enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Acrobat and related platforms.
• Experience with investigative and risk management tools desired.
• A hybrid work model will be implemented for certain positions.
• This position must report to worksite on non remote workdays as determined by the Federation.
