Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design and implement secure CSfC-based communications solutions for sensitive data.

The role focuses on Data-at-Rest and Data-in-Transit architectures, ensuring compliance with NSA CSfC standards and strong collaboration with stakeholders to meet operational security requirements. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, at least 3 years with CSfC packages, and a Top Secret clearance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
• Minimum 7+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years hands-on CSfC experience.
• Solid knowledge of secure system engineering and communication protocols.
• Familiarity with NSA CSfC program, guidelines, policies, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure communications solutions based on CSfC standards and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain compliant architectures for Data-at-Rest (DAR) and Data-in-Transit (DiT).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure systems meet operational requirements for data security and classified communications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CSfC-related technical challenges swiftly and effectively.
• Stay current with CSfC updates to continually improve solutions and compliance.
• Create technical documentation that supports CSfC solutions, including system design plans, configuration baselines, and compliance reports.
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis of CSfC implementations to identify and remediate security gaps.
