Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess High School Diploma or GED
• 4 years experience as electrician
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Install and support new equipment, ensuring proper electrical connections and system integration
• Good knowledge of the practices, tools and materials used in maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment
• Working knowledge of the operation of varied mechanical equipment
• Mechanical aptitude
• Skills and ability to troubleshoot, repair and maintain electrical and mechanical components throughout the district
• Execute preventative and corrective maintenance program to minimize downtime
• Diagnose machine electrical and mechanical system malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
• Performs emergency electrical repair work as required
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical Diagrams
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Ability to plan and supervise the work of others
• Good physical strength and physical condition
