CSBB Project Manager II - Consumer Small Business Banking

Job Overview

Apply expert-level project management skills to plan, monitor, and manage large, complex internal projects from initiation to completion. Requires a deep understanding of project management frameworks, broad knowledge of organizational initiatives, and the ability to solve complex problems and improve processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead or coordinate project planning activities for large, complex projects to align with business strategies.
  • Define project scope, organize teams, develop schedules, assign responsibilities, and manage resources.
  • Establish stakeholder relationships, monitor project performance, and report on KPIs, costs, and timelines.
  • Manage risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Manage scope, schedule, and cost changes using verification techniques.
  • Create and maintain project documentation and escalate issues as needed.
  • May manage small teams or serve as an individual contributor with technical expertise.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in consulting, project management, or process improvement.
  • Expertise in project management frameworks and methodologies.
  • Proven leadership, communication, negotiation, and risk management skills.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage time effectively.
Preferred:
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) and/or PMP certification.
  • Experience with large initiatives in matrix organizations and financial services.
  • Expertise in creating executive presentation materials.
