Job summary

SB Energy in the United States seeks a CSA Lead to oversee the design, coordination, and delivery of civil, structural, and architectural systems across data center construction projects. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering or architecture.
  • 5+ years in project engineering, construction management, or design management.
  • Strong knowledge of site development, structural systems, and building design.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings across disciplines.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CSA scope from construction through closeout.
  • Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural design consultants.
  • Ensure CSA designs integrate with MEP, IT, and commissioning requirements.
  • Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and field clarifications.
  • Monitor contractor performance for schedule, cost, quality.
  • Support layout coordination for critical equipment and spaces.
  • Assist in cost estimating and budget forecasting for CSA packages.
  • Provide technical guidance to project engineers and coordinators.

Basic Function:

Leadership of the datacenter construction team is committed to offering every team memberan opportunity toengageyour core skills and knowledge, while helping each person develop new and valuable skills throughout the duration of the project.

The CSA Leadis responsible forthedesignoversight, technical coordination, and delivery of civil, structural, and architectural (CSA) systems across data center construction projects. This role ensures that site development, building structure, and architectural systems are designed, implemented, and constructed to meet performance, durability, and scalability requirements.

This individual works cross-functionally with internal teams, external design partners, and construction stakeholders to translate design intent into successful project execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage CSA scope from construction through closeout.
  • Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural design consultants to ensure alignment with Owner standards, tenant requirements, and local codes.
  • EnsureCSA designsintegrateseamlesslywith MEP, IT, and commissioning requirements.
  • Review and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and field clarifications related toCSA scope.
  • Monitorcontractor performance for schedule, cost, quality.
  • Participate in site walks, inspections, and quality audits.
  • Support layout coordination for critical equipment, white space, and support areas tooptimizeconstructability and operations .
  • Support commissioning activities related to buildingenvelope, structural readiness, and site infrastructure .
  • Identifydesign and constructability risks early and drive mitigation strategies
  • Validate pay applications and change order pricing for CSA packages.
  • Assistin cost estimating, budget management, and forecasting for civil, structural, and architectural packages.
  • Providetechnical guidance to project engineers and project coordinators.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field
  • 5 + years of experience inproject engineering, construction management, or designmanagement.
  • Strong knowledge of site development, structural systems, and buildingdesign
  • Ability toread,interpret,andcoordinate construction drawings across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong communicationand cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience on large-scalecommercial, industrial, or mission critical projects (strongly preferred)

Base Pay - $115,000-$165,000

The pay range mentioned above is a guideline. We tailor each offer based on your unique skills, experience, location, and market benchmarks—while ensuring internal parity across our teams. In addition to competitive base pay, total compensation may include a discretionary annual bonus and a market leading comprehensive health and wellness benefits package. Final details will be discussed during the later stages of the hiring process.
