Linesight is hiring an Estimator in New York to analyze bids, prepare estimates and cost plans, and support value-driven projects across design and construction stages. You will maintain local rate libraries, optimize costs against budgets, and communicate clearly with clients and partners.

Qualifications

• Analyse external contractor bids to ensure client value for money
• Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
• Evaluate cost plans and project scopes to assess and address gaps
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates
• Optimize project costs against budget, including cost reviews, value engineering, and accurate estimates to increase client value
• Provide estimating expertise and leadership throughout the design and construction stages of the projects
• Build trust and credibility with partners across the business, from 3rd parties to client specialists to contractors and consultants
• Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication

The salary range for this role is between $83,000 and $120,000 but actual salary
