Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Cost Engineer - CSA to support large-scale data center and advanced manufacturing projects. You will develop, track, and maintain CSA budgets, collaborating with project controls, construction managers, estimators, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires 3+ years of cost engineering experience in CSA scopes (structural steel preferred) with strong change order and cost analysis skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience reviewing, validating, negotiating, and processing construction change orders.
• Experience supporting CSA (Primarily Structural Steel) scopes on commercial, industrial, semiconductor, or data center construction projects.
• Proven ability to analyze contractor change order requests for scope, quantity, labor, equipment, and material cost accuracy.
• Experience comparing change proposals against contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project budgets.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, and cost analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project costs and forecast accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate change orders and review contractor pay applications.
• Maintain and track CSA budgets and provide financial visibility to stakeholders.
• Identify cost risks and opportunities to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate with project controls, construction managers, estimators, and subcontractors.
