Job summary

Hill’s Pet Nutrition Inc CS&L Data Analyst Co-Op in Overland Park, KS, is a year-round hybrid position supporting analytics projects. You’ll pull and prepare data using SQL, validate data with SAP, and develop reports and dashboards for end-users.

Travel is limited and hours are capped by academic calendar. You will work alongside experienced analysts, contributing to data architecture and synchronization initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3 upper-level college classes in data analytics including data analysis and forecasting, data mining, and data visualization in business.
• Experience working in databases like Snowflake and BigQuery.
• Ability to read/write complex SQL queries to analyze data and validate data quality.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Enrolled as a student Aug 2026–May 2027 for the duration of the internship.
• Have full US work authorization without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Job Summary

The CS&L (Customer Service & Logistics) Data Analyst Co-Op is responsible for developing and managing data sets for analytical projects. This type of work requires attention to detail, an understanding of the most up to date data analysis tools, problem-solving skills, and an analytical mindset. This position will support the CS&L team and current analysts with data requests, creation of curated data sets from existing raw data, and use of analytical tools to answer business questions and provide visibility to data.

This position is a year-round Co-Op role which will require availability to work from August 2026 with no more than 29 hours per week in our hybrid work environment while school is in session and no more than 40 hours per week while on school breaks, if desired, through May 2027.

The CS&L Data Analyst co-op will collaborate frequently with both experienced analysts and the broader CS&L team to support analytics projects and help build our data architecture. The co-op can also provide support as needed to other internal teams for specific projects requiring data preparation and/or analysis. The CS&L Data Analyst co-op must leverage both customer data and internal data to meet synchronization initiatives.

Tasks

• Use SQL to pull and aggregate data for CS&L projects, validating using SAP and other analytical tools as required.
• Conduct data cleaning, data merging, data architecture review, and data quality control, while creating documentation for each data request.
• Help develop reports, analyses, and visualizations
• Train and incorporate feedback from end-users on new reports and dashboards
• Work with different members of the CS&L team on reporting and automating analytical needs
• Work cross functionally with different teams on data sets, inputs, and outputs

Education/ Experience Requirements

• Have completed a minimum of 3 upper level college classes in data analytics including - data analysis and forecasting, data mining and predictive analytics, system analysis and design and data visualization in business, or similarly related classes
• Experience working in databases like snowflake, Big query, etc
• Experience in SQL programming: ability to read/write complex SQL queries to analyze data, investigate systemic defects and validate data quality
• Working knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ability to access relational and multidimensional databases
• Be an enrolled student pursuing a degree for the duration of this position from August 2026-May 2027
• Have full US work authorization without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future, including H1-B/F-1/OPT/CPT, etc

Compensation And Benefits

Salary Range $23.00 - $31.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
