Job summary

Phoenixville Hospital - Tower Health is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician for full-time day shift in Phoenixville, PA. Monday–Friday 10:00am–6:30pm with holiday rotations 8:00am–4:30pm.

You will fulfill ancillary functions such as cleaning equipment, instrumentation and supplies per policy. Reporting to the Manager of Sterile Processing, you will maintain sanitary condition, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support patient care operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of related experience preferred.
• IAHCSMM or CBSPD certification required within 18 months of hire.
• Ability to work in sterile processing environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and customer service.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare hospital nursing units' equipment and supplies per policy.

Job Summary

Work Schedule: Full-Time Day Shift Position

• Mondays thru Fridays, 10:00am-6:30pm
• Holiday rotations, 8:00am-4:30pm

Reporting to the Manager of Sterile Processing Dept, will be responsible to fulfill various ancillary functions such as cleaning hospital nursing units' equipment, instrumentation, and supplies following departmental, regulatory, procedural, and standards per policy. Performs a variety of duties to maintain patient care equipment, instrumentation, and supplies in a sanitary and orderly condition.
