Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a full-service laboratory for single-crystal crystallography and X-ray powder diffraction.
• Perform routine and specialized crystallographic analyses, including data collection and structure determination.
• Assist biochemical research groups with macromolecular crystal mounting and screening as needed.
• Teach CHEM 8046 graduate X-ray Crystallography, including lectures and hands-on labs.
• Contribute to manuscript preparation and dissemination of research findings.
• Establish collaborations and pursue external funding for the X-ray Facility.
