Job summary

CACI International Inc seeks a Cryptologic Language Training Developer Level 1 - Spanish to design and update language training materials for the IC community. You will collaborate with instructors and other developers to mirror analyst tasks and create practical evaluations.

In this role, you will use tools like Audacity and Adobe Premiere to produce blended online and instructor-led content, supporting both classroom and distance learning. TS/SCI with Poly is required on start.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Language, Area Studies, Education, ISD or other directly related discipline.
• A speaker with native capability and ILR 4 in Spanish and ILR 2 in English, or native English with ILR 3 in Spanish; documented within last 3 years.
• Minimum five years experience including three years SIGINT or Intelligence Community as language analyst/instructor.
• Two years experience in the last 6 years developing, documenting, updating language training materials following ISD principles.
• In lieu of the degree, 9 years of related work experience in language education, ISD, or language analysis may substitute.
• One year experience typing in English and foreign language fonts; one year in synchronous/asynchronous instructional systems design and development of skills-based instruction.

The Opportunity

Be part of the team behind our language training courses. From eLearning tools and interactive lectures to lively discussions, team exercises, readings, case studies, role plays, and practical demonstrations, you will develop material that would mirror language analyst tasks and update existing materials to meet our client's language training requirements.

You will be collaborating with language instructors and other developers in the design, development and documentation of language and domain-specific training materials. You will also get to develop practical evaluations to test the student's mastery of the learning and/or performance objectives.

Responsibilities

• Clarify and document customer operational requirements, training objectives and language level of materials
• Assist in the prioritization of requirements for training development
• Research and leverage classified and unclassified domain-specific language resources for relevant, authentic language content
• Develop training materials to include transcription, translation, and analysis of operational, task-based exercises
• Collaborate with language instructors and other Government and Contractor developers in the design, development and documentation of language and domain-specific training materials
• Employ technology (ex. Audacity, Adobe C5S, Adobe Premier) in developing training materials for language learning that combines blended delivery modes such as online, distance, asynchronous eLearning technology and self-paced instruction
• Collaborate with SIGINT Operations technical experts as well as other Government and Contractor instructors and developers to obtain and develop language materials
• Develop practical evaluations to test the student's mastery of the learning and/or performance objectives
• Identify and recommend learning applications and tools that enhance training delivery

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. in Language, Area Studies, Education, Education Technology, ISD or other directly related discipline
• A speaker with native capability and a minimum ILR proficiency level 4 in reading, listening, and speaking in Spanish and a minimum ILR proficiency level 2 in reading, writing, speaking and listening in English OR a speaker with native capability in English and a minimum ILR proficiency level 3 in reading and listening in Spanish. Skill levels must be documented within the last 3 years
• Minimum five (5) years of experience shall include:
• Three (3) years SIGINT or Intelligence Community experience as a language analyst and/or language instructor
• Two (2) years experience, within the last 6 years, must be applied practical work experience developing, documenting and/or updating basic, intermediate, and advanced language training materials following the principles of ISD
• In lieu of the relevant B.A./B.S. Degree: 4 additional years of applied, practical experience in language education, instructional design or language analysis fields for a total of 9 years of work experience may be substituted
• One (1) year experience typing, using English and appropriate foreign language fonts, keyboards, and computer software
• One (1) year experience within the last 4 years, in synchronous and asynchronous instructional systems design and in the development of skills-based instruction to adults to include using web-based or distance learning teaching technologies, (e.g., Centra, Blackboard, Questionmark, SumTotal)

Desired

• One (1) year experience using digital audio tools such as Audacity or Sound Forge

The Proposed Salary Range For This Position Is

$78,700 - $165,200
