Cryptologic Cyber Planner 3 – Maryland

A dynamic Cryptologic Cyber Planner with hands‑on experience in supporting DOD missions or similar efforts.

In this role you will drive strategic and operational planning, foster collaboration across agencies, and work closely with external partners to deliver impactful cyber and intelligence solutions. You will shape mission success through innovative approaches in collection, analysis, and external customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic and operational planning for cyber and intelligence missions.
• Coordinate across agencies and external partners.
• Engage with external customers and provide support.
• Plan and execute cyber operations at tactical or campaign levels.
• Participate in cross‑Agency working groups, Joint Directives Architecture (JDA), and field experience.
• Apply innovative collection and analysis techniques to enhance mission success.

Qualifications

Relevant experience must be in an area directly related to a national agency mission (e.g., collection, cyber and intelligence analysis) and/or similar mission in the IC or DoD, including strategic and/or operational level planning (e.g., joint operations). External engagement and collaboration experience is required, such as participation in cross‑Agency working groups, JDA, field experience, and external customer support. Familiarity with the JOPES process and experience in planning and executing cyber operations at the tactical or campaign level is essential. The candidate should be a self‑starter with the ability to coordinate across mission elements.

Preferred

A degree in Cyber Security, Information Assurance, or a related field is preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable.
