RealmOne is seeking a Cryptologic Computer Scientist to design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. You will work on forensics, attack attribution, and protection of critical networks, contributing to mission success.

The role requires deep CS knowledge across OS, compiler theory, algorithms, and data structures, with multiple levels of experience and a requirement for active security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above).
  • Relevant experience must be in a computer science area (theoretical or applied), simulation/model development, or reverse engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deliver, and operate cryptologic computer science solutions within a scientific framework.
  • Apply forensics and attack attribution techniques to protect critical networks and active systems.
  • Conduct knowledge discovery of passive and active systems for threat assessment.

Job Description

We are searching for a Cryptologic Computer Scientist to design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. You will create solutions derived from forensics and attack attribution, facilitate protection of critical networks and active systems, and conduct knowledge discovery of passive and active systems, or other cryptologic computer science mission support. The right candidate will apply requisite computer science skills (operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structure) to each problem to provide state‑of‑the‑art techniques, tools, and approaches. The Cryptologic Computer Scientist shall possess the following capabilities: Design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. The solutions may arise in the forms of forensics and attack attribution, protection of critical networks, active systems warnings and indicators, active penetration into target systems, knowledge discovery of passive and active systems, or other cryptologic computer science mission support. Requisite computer science skills (operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures are applied to each problem to provide state‑of‑the‑art techniques, tools, and approaches. Qualifications: * Level 1: Associate's degree with 4 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience

  • Level 2: Associate's degree with 7 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience or a Doctoral degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Level 3: Associate's degree with 10 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience or Doctoral degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Level 4: Associate's degree with 13 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 11 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 9 years of relevant experience or Doctoral degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
  • All Levels:
  • Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above). * Relevant experience must be in a computer science area (i.e. theoretical or applied), simulation/model development, designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematic models, methods, and/or techniques (e.g. algorithm or development) computation science, algorithm analysis and design, reverse engineering, and/or designing/developing computer and information systems, including engineering hardware and/or software. Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
