Job summary

IntelliGenesis in Maryland seeks a highly qualified cryptologic computer scientist with active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph to design, develop, deliver and operate advanced cryptologic solutions.

Candidates will apply core computer science knowledge—operating systems, algorithms, data structures—in projects spanning forensics, network protection, active warnings, and target-system penetration. This role requires citizenship and security eligibility, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience ranges from 4–8 years depending on degree.
• Degree must be in Computer Science or related fields.

Citizenship Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

Job Duties

• Design, develop, deliver and operate solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework
• Solutions may arise in the forms of forensics and attack attribution, protection of critical networks, active systems warnings and indicators, active penetration into target systems, knowledge discovery of passive and active systems, or other cryptologic computer science mission support
• Requisite computer science skills (operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures) are applied to each problem to provide state of the art techniques, tools and approaches

Required Skills

• Active TS/SCI Clearance andPolygraphrequired
• Minimum of four (4)years of relevant experience and a Doctoral degree or six (6)years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree eight (8)years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree required
• Ten (10) years of relevant experience and an Associate’s degree may be considered
• Degree in must be in Computer Science; related fields (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics) may be considered depending on program content
• Relevant experience must be in one or more of the following:
  • Computer systems research
  • Simulation/model development and prototyping
  • Software design
  • Programming
  • Computational science
  • Algorithm analysis and design
  • Reverse engineering
  • Designing/developing computer or information systems including engineering hardware and/or software

Compensation

Range: $110,000 - $151,000
