Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking a Cryptologic Computer Scientist to advance cryptologic operations for national security.

The role involves developing, delivering, and operating solutions to complex cryptologic problems, based on forensic analysis and protection of critical networks. You will work on active and passive systems, applying advanced computer science to evolving operational needs, with an emphasis on knowledge discovery and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM discipline or equivalent combination of education, and experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with development skills such as C++ and C
  • Experience developing automation scripts using Python
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
  • ITAR/EAR compliance knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, deliver, and operate solutions to challenging cryptologic computer science problems
  • Derive solutions from forensic analysis, attack attribution, and protection of critical networks
