Job summary

Aave Labs is looking for a Video Editor to create engaging, high-quality video content across our social and digital channels. You’ll work with the Marketing team to bring Aave’s products, ecosystem and brand to life through video, from short-form content to events and interviews.

Turn raw footage into compelling edits with strong hooks, pacing and storytelling, while staying on brand and adapting formats for different platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video editing and storytelling.
• Experience creating content for social and digital channels.
• Good understanding of pacing, hooks, retention, sound and visual storytelling.
• Strong understanding of social platforms and internet culture.
• Ability to work quickly across multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong attention to detail and creative judgement.
• Interest in crypto, DeFi and the Aave ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality video content across Aave’s social and digital channels
• Create content across product launches, campaigns, events, interviews and the wider Aave ecosystem
• Turn raw footage and creative concepts into engaging edits with strong hooks, pacing and storytelling
• Work closely with Marketing, Design and other teams to bring creative ideas to life
• Adapt content and formats based on platform, audience and performance
• Stay on top of social trends, editing styles and emerging content formats
• Help evolve Aave’s video style and maintain a consistently high creative standard
