Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Herndon, VA seeks a strong cryptography security engineer to design, analyze, and implement cryptographic solutions for devices and cloud services within the SBS- Cryptography (DS-Crypto) team.

You will own key deliverables, collaborate with cryptographers and security engineers, and contribute to training materials while working in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment to delight customers with secure products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of scripting, programming, and security code review in a non-internship setting.
• Bachelor's degree in STEM or 3+ years of IT security experience.
• 3+ years of developing cryptographic solutions and system design using cryptographic algorithms, PKI and HSMs.
• 3+ years of threat modeling for cryptographic solutions.

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into technical design specifications.
• Design, review and analyze cryptographic solutions for devices and cloud services.
• Collaborate with software engineers to implement cryptographic solutions.
• Ensure high-quality, efficient, testable and maintainable code.
