Job summary

Anchorage Digital is seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Licensing Attorney to lead CFTC/NFA licensing and navigate the evolving regulatory landscape for digital assets. This role sits at the intersection of legal strategy and commercial objectives within a fast-moving crypto platform.

You will advise on OTC and cleared derivatives, margin lending, and privacy, working with product, risk, and engineering to embed compliance into trading workflows and platform architecture.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree with a focus on financial services, commodities, or corporate law.
• 4+ years of legal practice, with at least 3+ years on CFTC/NFA regulatory matters.
• Deep knowledge of the CEA and Dodd-Frank Act.
• Experience with OTC, margin lending, and complex regulatory agreements.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end regulatory licensing strategy for the firm with CFTC/NFA.
• Draft, review, and negotiate regulatory agreements and disclosures.
• Partner with Trading, Operations, Risk, and Engineering to embed compliance.
• Manage responses to regulatory inquiries and audits.
