Job summary

CAC I International Inc. in Springfield, VA seeks a Crypto Engineer T3 to support Intelligence Community networks, perform COMSEC duties and manage encryption devices across WAN/LAN/CAN infrastructures.

You will install, configure and maintain cryptographic technologies to ensure secure communications and data integrity. The role requires active TS/SCI security clearance and Security+ certification, plus the ability to work weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• DOD 8570 IAT2 level certification (Security+) required.
• Security Clearance: active TS/SCI, eligibility for CI polygraph.
• Ability to work independently with little direction and guidance.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents and present to senior/executive management.
• Proficient with MS Office suite – Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

Responsibilities

• Perform Account Management, Custodian duties and encryption device configurations and maintenance.
• Maintain multiple Secure Communication devices across the Enterprise.
• Experience with encryption devices: KG175D/KG175F/KG175G/KG175X, KG245A, KG245X, KG250/KG250X/KG255X/KG142.
• Experience with encryption device managers: GEM ONE, CHM, VIASAT VINE.
• System maintenance, monitoring and installation of WAN/LAN environments across multiple platforms; troubleshoot network media and components.

Experience in complex telecommunications applications involving all phases of telecommunications network design, implementation, and analysis. Demonstrated knowledge in communications security for monitoring, operating and maintaining cryptographic devices. Performs research, requirements analysis, design, installation, troubleshooting, and support of local- and wide-area network hardware, software and applications.
