Job Title: Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist

BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Cryptanalytic Computer Scientist to perform data and computer science analysis in support of customer operations.

Job Description:

Provides analytic support for SIGINT operations. Capabilities include software development skills and experience using programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, or C++. Experience in front-end development with Angular, React, JavaScript, or HTML/CSS is highly desired, along with experience in high-performance computing, AI, and data analytics.

Primary Location:

Annapolis Junction, MD

Secondary Locations:

Augusta, GA; San Antonio, TX; Oahu, HI; and various locations

Clearance Requirement:

TS/SCI with Poly

Degree Requirement:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, with at least one programming course and four upper-level math classes (Calculus and above)

Relevant Experience:

• Experience in a computer science area (theoretical or applied), designing, developing, using, or evaluating mathematical models, methods, or techniques (e.g., algorithms), engineering (electrical or computer), and high-performance computing
• Ability to leverage computer science expertise to solve mission problem sets
• Experience participating in cross-agency working groups, JDA, field assignments, and external customer support
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordination across multiple mission teams

Education and Experience:

Entry-level positions require an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Higher positions may require up to an Associate's degree plus 13 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years, or a Master's degree and 9 years.

Pay Range:

$117,000 - $250,000. The pay range is a guideline; actual compensation considers role responsibilities, educational background, experience, and competencies.
