Job summary

GEIOS COeX is seeking a Cryogenic Systems Engineer to lead the development of advanced cryogenic systems for methane and oxygen production. You will design, optimize, and implement innovative cryogenic processes within our geothermal energy extraction technology.

The role requires a strong background in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics, plus hands-on experience with cryogenic liquefaction and process simulation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cryogenic engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with cryogenic system design and liquefaction processes.
• Familiarity with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize cryogenic systems for liquefaction of methane and oxygen.
• Develop thermal management strategies for cryogenic fluids.
• Create process flow diagrams and equipment specifications.
• Perform heat and mass balance calculations for cryogenic processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryogenic systems with other technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in cryogenic systems.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in cryogenics.
