Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a Process Engineer to help expand assets through Cryogenic Gas Processing, NGL Fractionation, Exports, Petrochemical, and Emerging Technologies. The role emphasizes planning, design, analysis, and teamwork to deliver safe, reliable processing solutions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering (Chemical preferred); MS/PE is a plus. Proficiency with ProMax and HYSYS is expected, with work spanning office and field environments in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or higher required; Chemical preferred.
• MS and/or PE license considered a plus; experience welcome.
• Experience levels vary by job level; commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and operations.
• Lead process design and development efforts in support of major capital projects.
• Perform upfront engineering on midstream assets including amine treaters, dehydrations, cryogenic plants, and NGL facilities.
• Assist in process design of projects, evaluating operating scenarios and cost estimates.
• Ensure quality of PFDs, H&M balances, P&IDs, and data sheets.
• Provide technical support to project teams and third-party engineers through design reviews and start-up.
