SpaceX in the United States is seeking a Launch Engineer, Stage 0 Propellant Generation for Starship, to support cryogenic propellant processing and generation systems across launch sites, landing sites, test sites, production facilities, etc. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1+ years of hands-on build or design experience.

You will own projects from design reviews through fabrication, collaborating with technicians to solve problems and optimize systems under tight

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace, or related engineering field.
• 1+ years hands-on build or design experience (internships, clubs, and competition team experience qualifies)

Responsabilités

• Analyze, design, and build systems that support rocket launches and testing.
• Cradle-to-grave ownership through design reviews, procurement, and coordination of construction.
• Apply interdisciplinary skills in process design, sizing, detailed pressurized fluid and thermal analysis, structural engineering, materials selection and cost/schedule optimization.
• Collaborate with technicians to implement designs and fix real-world problems on the fly.
• Maintain a tight feedback loop with operation and construction teams to meet deadlines.
• Activate Commission and troubleshoot equipment to meet design objectives and reduce downtime.
• Hands-on field work to keep SpaceX launching rockets.
• Provide innovative solutions with minimal supervision or direction.
