Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace, or related engineering field.
• 3+ years of mechanical, fluids, or thermal design experience in industry.
• Experience with high pressure and cryogenic fluid systems is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and build systems that support rocket launches and testing.
• Own projects from concept through hosting design reviews and procurement.
• Design modular hardware for volume manufacture across launch sites.
• Apply fluid, thermal, and structural analysis; select materials and components.
• Collaborate with technicians to realize designs and troubleshoot on the fly.
• Maintain rapid feedback with launch operations to meet deadlines.
• Activate and test equipment to meet design objectives and reduce downtime.
• Hands-on field work to keep SpaceX launches on schedule.
