Job summary

Marathon Petroleum Company LP in Evans City, PA is seeking an outside operations professional to support the continuous operation of the plant’s process, storage, loading and unloading systems in a mixed natural gas liquids fractionation or cryogenic facility.

The role involves site checks, adjusting equipment per control room directions, and assisting maintenance and support groups to optimize plant efficiency and reliability while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must be able to pass drug test and background check.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for gas treating, absorption, distillation, fractionation, product treating, product gas dehydration, cryogenic and other process equipment.
• Operates gas compressors, auxiliary engines, motors, and pumps.
• Prepares engine room logs.
• Performs servicing, lubrication, and minor maintenance of assigned equipment, including alarms and Process Safety Management (PSM) testing.
• Handles routine maintenance, safety, and security in work area.
