Job summary

Blue Origin is hiring for a propulsion and cryogenics-focused engineer to drive lunar subsystem designs, interface definitions, and supplier coordination for the Lunar Transporter program.

You will conduct first‑order analyses, create fabrication drawings, and lead cross‑functional reviews to ensure reliable performance in lunar environments. This role requires extensive propulsion experience and readiness for field collaboration.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years designing aerospace propulsion and cryogenic fluid systems.

Responsibilities

• Define & Own Requirements for lunar environments and interfaces.
• Drive Design Reviews with cross-functional teams and lunar vehicle systems.
• Specify & Procure materials and components optimized for lunar missions.
• Execute full design-to-delivery cycle for components to the Moon.
• Document drawings, P&IDs, and verification packages to mission standards.
• Lead solving with structural and fluid analyses using industry tools.
