Job summary

HK Contractors, a CRH Company, is seeking a Crusher Laborer to safely perform construction duties related to conveyors and aggregate production at on-site plant locations. Travel may be required, and work will follow supervisor instructions with minimal supervision.

Physical tasks include lifting up to 50-80 lbs, standing, bending, and working in a loud environment. Overtime and weekend work may be required; safety and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills or aptitude.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing.
• Safety minded professional with good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
• Willingness to learn and take on varied tasks.
• Ability to conform to OSHA, MSHA, DOT and all company/state rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., front-end loader, skid steer).
• Perform general clean-up, maintenance and housekeeping at the crusher.
• Shovel excess materials to prevent buildup near conveyors.
• Operate loader to supply materials to trucks.
• Drive haul truck to transport crushed rock within the plant.
• Perform general equipment maintenance and report major problems.
• Keep machines clean and well-maintained; record time and materials.
• Assist other crew members across production areas.
• Follow supervisor instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
