Job summary

HK Contractors, a CRH company, is seeking a Crusher Laborer to safely perform a variety of construction duties at our on-site plant locations. You will work with conveyors, assist in the production of aggregates, and travel as required under supervision.

This role requires mechanical aptitude, a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 50–80 lbs, and willingness to work overtime, weekends or holidays. You must follow OSHA, MSHA, DOT and CRH safety rules and actively contribute to a safe,

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills or aptitude required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and drug testing.
• Safety minded with good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Willing to learn a variety of tasks.
• Follow OSHA, MSHA, DOT and company/state rules and regulations.
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely within designed parameters.
• Perform general clean-up and maintenance at the crusher.
• Shovel excess materials around conveyors to prevent buildup.
• Operate loader to supply materials to crusher plant trucks.
• Drive haul truck to transport crushed rock.
• Perform general maintenance and report major problems.
• Keep machines cleaned and maintained.
• Keep time and material records.
• Assist other production team members as needed.
• Take action to avoid hazards.
• Attend regularly and promote an inclusive environment.
