Job summary

Florida Canyon Mining, Inc. seeks a Crusher Supervisor to lead the safe and efficient operation of the crusher and related equipment at the Nevada mine site. You will oversee daily activities, ensure crew safety, and coordinate with maintenance and production teams.

The role requires a strong safety record, 3+ years of leadership, and experience with jaw crushers in mining. You will report to the Crusher/Site Maintenance General Supervisor and participate in planning meetings and incident

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and maintenance education.
• Minimum three years of leading teams in a mining environment is required.
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and maintain safety culture.
• Experience with jaw crushers in mining is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Report to Crusher/Site Maintenance General Supervisor and oversee safe, effective operation of the crusher and related equipment.
• Keep crews updated on performance of the crushing department.
• Make decisive decisions regarding safety, equipment upgrades, and property.
• Plan, coordinate, and assign tasks to employees.
• Supervise time, supplies, equipment, and personnel; attend planning meetings.
• Provide documentation for incidents and shift production reports.
• Train crusher personnel on safety, maintenance procedures, and upgrades.
• Learn and administer company policies including evaluations, discipline, PTO, and employee relations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Maintenance education in college or trade school

Minimum 3 years leading teams

Written and verbal communication skills

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Reporting to the Crusher/Site Maintenance General Supervisor, the Crusher Supervisor is responsible for all activities related to the safe and effective operation of the crusher and other equipment used in support of the crusher.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reporting – ensure that their crews are kept up to date on the performance of the crushing department.
• Make decisive and accurate decisions regarding employee safety, upgrades, crushing equipment and property.
• Analyze, plan, set up, coordinate, and assign tasks to employees.
• Supervise, coordinate time, supplies, equipment, and crushing personnel.
• Attend daily, weekly, and monthly planning meetings.
• Provide appropriate documentation for employee disciplinary actions, operations incidents and accidents, and shift production reports.
• Train and instruct crusher personnel regarding safety, maintenance procedures and upgrades.
• Learn and administer all policies and procedures including evaluations, discipline, PTO, and employee relations.
• All other duties as assigned.
